wex grid image fill

Artist Cyprien Gaillard presents and discusses selected short film projects, as well as his works on view in his Disquieting Landscapes exhibition.

He’ll be joined in this conversation by Catharina Manchanda, the curator of Disquieting Landscapes and the Wexner Center’s senior curator of exhibitions. His show doesn’t officially open to the public until January 30, but you can take a sneak peek at the galleries for an hour immediately before the talk.

Gaillard (b. 1980 in Paris) is an intriguing younger French artist whose work is attracting enthusiastic attention around the world, with a major project in the October Artforum, a call out as one of the top 100 emerging artists in the October Flash Art, and a similar mention in Frieze magazine in January 2009. Gaillard currently lives and works in Berlin.
