Flag Wars Panel Discussion

The revealing documentary Flag Wars (screening March 21 and 22) looks at the increasingly common syndrome of urban gentrificationÛin this case, of Columbus's Olde Towne East neighborhood.

Among the many issues raised by Flag Wars are the social costs and personal impact of gentrification. Moderated by local community activist, facilitator, and consultant Tom Dillard and including residents from Olde Towne East, this panel dicussion is designed as a "brainstorming" session. The audience is invited to discuss with panelists possible ways for reducing the adverse effects of urban (re)development.
