Tap into your students’ love of comics and graphic novels while staying on track with their academic standards.

This workshop is now full! Please contact us with any questions.

Spend this year’s COTA/Central Day at the Wexner Center and learn about the variety of novel and cartoon genres that you can connect to your classes. Work with artist Julian Lee to experiment at making your own comic piece and leave equipped to lead your students in creating work of their own. One lucky participant will even win 30 copies of a graphic novel for his or her school.

No prior arts experience is necessary and non-arts educators are especially encouraged to participate. This workshop is best suited for educators in the Arts, Humanities, Math, Social Studies, and Language Arts/English. Advanced registration is required. To register, call (614) 292-6493 or e-mail edweb@wexarts.org.
