Harriet Korman

Artist's Talks

Informal presentations by artists.

Wed, Oct 19, 2005 4:30 PM

Harriet Korman, a painter based in New York City, is the inaugural guest artist for the Jan Dilenschneider Guest Artist/Critic Series. This program brings an artist or critic to the art department twice during one year to work intensively with graduate and undergraduate students.

Korman has been exhibiting nationally and internationally since 1970 and is associated with critical discussions surrounding abstraction. Her work was selected for inclusion in the Whitney Annual of 1972 and in the Whitney Biennial for 1995—a testament to the sustained interest her painting has attracted.

Presented by Ohio State's Department of Art. Cosponsored by the Wexner Center.
