James Thurber and William Wegman: Two American Originals

Thu, Nov 15, 2007 7 PM

Like William Wegman, Columbus’s own James Thurber was a devoted dog-lover, whose creations were celebrated for their unique sense of humor.

Join us for a special performance by the Thurber Chamber Theatre, who bring several of Thurber’s short stories about canine friends to life in the galleries. Come early for a special tour of William Wegman: Funney/Strange at 6 PM.

Presented in collaboration with Thurber House.

Jean Dubuffet, Vaches au pre (Cows in a meadow), 1954
