Jennifer Pastor speaks about her voluptuous large-scale hybrid sculptures. Jennifer Pastor has exhibited in national and international venues since 1994, including solo exhibitions in Chicago (Museum of Contemporary Art, 1996), Los Angeles (Richard Telles Fine Art, 1994), and Milan, Italy (Studio Guenzani, 1995).

In this lecture, she speaks about her voluptuous large-scale hybrid sculptures, which include a larger-than-life vision of a melting wedding cake (Bridal Cave, 1999) and hyperreal stalks of corn (Fall, 1996).

Her work has also been included in numerous group shows, including the SÑo Paulo Bienal (1996), Whitney Biennial (1997), and the upcoming Venice Biennale (2003). Pastor is currently associate professor at the University of California at San Diego.
