Hear from Lee Mingwei, the Wexner Center's 2002-03 Residency Award recipient in visual arts, who'll talk about the new interactive work, inspired by Chinese tea houses, he's created for Away from Home. Lee Mingwei is a Ch'an Buddhist who makes no distinction between art and life in his work. He draws inspiration from conversation and collaboration with other artists and creates work that includes audience participation. Among his best known previous works are The Dining Project and The Letter-Writing Project, both of which examine routine behaviors and social notions in unusual ways.
