Professional skateboarder, artist, and poet Mark Gonzales reads a selection of his poems and stories. Mark Gonzales--or "The Gonz" as he is known to his fans--is one of the most famous and respected professional skateboarders in the world. Gonzales is also an artist, with paintings inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Norman Rockwell, and TV's Sanford &: Son, among others, and the author of two books, Social Problems (drawings and writings) and Broken Poems: Stories, Poetry, and Drawings.
After the reading, Gonzales will sign copies of his books.
