Artist's Talks

Informal presentations by artists.

Wed, May 11, 2005 4:30 PM

Since the mid-1960s, sculptor Mowry Baden has made participation-based objects that explore the interaction between viewer and object, sight and touch. Often requiring viewers to complete a specific task, Baden's sculptures can evoke feelings of frustration, futility, and bemusement. In this lecture, the American-born, Canadian-based artist discusses both his public art and gallery works.

Presented by Ohio State's Department of Art. Cosponsored by the Wexner Center.
