Ohio Shorts 2010 Call for Entries

Submit your work for the Wexner Center's annual Ohio Shorts showcase. The deadline for entries is Monday, March 29, 2010.

This competition is intended to provide Ohio's independent media artists a chance to show their work in a theatrical setting before an audience. Works to be included will be selected by a diverse jury of media professionals and artists.

The 2010 Ohio Shorts screening takes place on Saturday, May 8, at 7 PM in the Wexner Center Film/Video Theater. Each person whose work is selected for the showcase will receive two complimentary tickets for the screening.

Entrance Guidelines
Pieces must be independently produced, no longer than 20 minutes in length, and produced in Ohio within the last 18 months. Entries must be submitted on DVD (either as an authored disc or as data file). Unless the final work is on 16mm or 35mm film, selected artists will be asked to submit their videos as high-res Quicktime or MPEG files for the screening. Only one entry per person. Previously submitted works will not be accepted.

Entries must be accompanied by an entry form.

Entries may also be dropped off at the Wexner Center's Ticket Office/Patron Services Desk on the entry level of the building during its regular hours.
