Students will gain an appreciation for the power of artists (and us all) to effect change while viewing this new documentary film about the amazing life and career of singer, actor, and human rights activist Harry Belafonte. While rising from poverty to stardom, Belafonte always worked to fight racism and oppression and enlisted many other celebrities in the fight. (104 mins.)
