Style Your Sole

Wed, Oct 28, 2009 4 PM

Be a shoe artist for a day, meet other students, and donate a pair of shoes to a child in need. Decorate your own pair of TOMS shoes, and create a piece of wearable art, with advice and input from local artists. We'll provide all the supplies you need (except the shoes) - and free food too.

Wondering where to get your white canvas TOMS?

Come to Blake Mycoskie's lecture on October 20 - The first 150 students to sign up and pay for their shoes at the lecture will get their pair of TOMS shoes for only $22 - that's half the cost! Students who order shoes at the lecture will pick them up at Style Your Sole on October 28.

You can also order your shoes individually online at

This event is being held in conjunction with the visit of TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie on October 20 as part of the 2009 First Year Distinguished Speaker Series. This successful and creative entrepreneur (and former Amazing Race contestant) founded TOMS shows on the premise of offering affordable, comfortable shoes to consumers and matching each pair he sales with one donated to a child in need.
