Summer Kids 2010
Taught by top-notch professional artist/educators from the Columbus area, Summer Kids workshops are for young people entering grades 1 to 8 in the fall. All kinds of creative kids will enjoy these weeklong (Monday-Friday), half-day workshops. This summer we're emphasizing approaches related to collage in contemporary painting, drawing, mixed media, video game design, digital video, and photography.
It's not too late to register for Summer Kids workshops. Space is still available in What a Relief for kids entering grades 1-2 and Bugs, Mix It All Up, and Extreme Surface for kids entering grades 3-5.
Follow the links at right to browse the workshop descriptions and choose the ones that match your kids' interests and ages. When you are ready to register, follow the link to online registration below or call (614) 292-6493 to register by phone.
Please note: Many workshops fill quickly. Outside of regular business hours (9 AM–5 PM weekdays), priority will be given to people using online registration. If your first-choice workshop is already full, see if another one sparks your interest or follow the registration link to join a wait list, so we can contact you in case space become available or another section is added.
Registration fees are $95 per student, per workshop for the general public. Members save with registration fees of just $75 per student, per workshop. Registration fees include materials and equipment. Scholarships are available for children who would otherwise be unable to attend such a program; download an application form below. The scholarship application deadline is April 16.
