New York-based painter and installation artist Theresa Hackett visits to talk about her work. Employing a variety of materials to challenge the conventions of painting, Hackett blends the language of abstraction with the pictorial and the pastoral to create hybrid landscapes.

Hackett has been the subject of several solo shows, including At the Edge of Understanding (2000) in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work has appeared in dozens of group shows and in the collections of the Kassel Documenta Archive and Museum Ludwig in Cologne, Germany.

Presented by Ohio State's Department of Art. Cosponsored by the Wexner Center.
