Thursday Walk-in Tours

Thu, Apr 9, 2009 5 PMThu, July 23, 2009 5 PM

Make the most of your visit to our exhibitions. Take a lively, informative Walk-in Tour. Your docent (tour guide) introduces some of the many highlights in our three current exhibitions while also encouraging you to ask questions and express your own ideas.

The shows couldn't vary more in subject and approach, but each is a "first" for its featured artist or artists. Catch Air: Robin Rhode is this South African artist's first solo survey exhibition in a U.S. museum. COOP HIMMELB(L)AU: Beyond the Blue offers an intriguing look at the innovative work of this leading architecture firm, as well as the most extensive U.S. chronicle to date of its work. William Forsythe: Transfigurations is the first exhibition in this country to bring together a substantial body of the famed choreographer's video works and installations.

Admission to the galleries is free after 4 PM on Thursday, and there is no charge for Walk-in Tours. Tours last about an hour.

Belle and Sebastian

Belle and Sebastian headline Next@Wex Fest at the LC Outdoor Pavilion on June 14; the lineup also includes Jungle and Son Lux.
