Hear about your special Wexner Center student benefits, which include great discounts on some very cool films, jazz and dance concerts, and theater events, plus a 10% discount in the Wexner Center Store. Be sure to stick around for the free outdoor screening of the sci-fi classic Planet of the Apes at 8:30 PM on the Wexner Center Plaza.

The original Planet of the Apes left four sequels, a television series, action figures, Tim Burton’s remake, and more in its wake. Charlton Heston stars as an American astronaut who finds himself on the lowest rung of society on a planet ruled by simians. Only the unforgettable surprise ending could make matters worse for "Blue Eyes"! The film received an honorary Oscar for John Chambers’s makeup work, and Jerry Goldsmith’s influential score is regarded as one of the best ever. Based on the novel by Pierre Boulle, author of The Bridge on the River Kwai. (112 mins., 35mm)
