Every thinking mind needs a worldview. This half-day seminar offers students grades 9–12 an engaging arts experience that builds on the cross-cultural understandings and perspectives that influence many contemporary artists. This year’s program features The Hunting Ground, a documentary film by writer/director Kirby Dick that tackles the timely issue of sexual assault on college campuses across the US. The program also includes facilitated small group discussions to process and explore the issues highlighted in the film. Preprogram resource materials will be provided, as will opportunities for pre- and post-program classroom visits to further engage with the topic.

Teachers, register your class by calling (614) 292-6493 or emailing edweb@wexarts.org
