Zoom School Screenings: International Shorts

This captivating program of short films, best for students in grades 3–8, comes from the 2013 Children’s Film Festival Seattle, you’ll encounter children determined to live life to the fullest despite obstacles that sometimes seem daunting. Whether it’s the story of a Back to the Future–obsessed girl who tries to make a functioning hoverboard or that of a young Jewish boy determined to become a champion break dancer, you’ll be amazed these characters’ ingenuity, strength, and sense of adventure. With films from the US Navajo community, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, and Iceland. Educational resources are provided. Groups fully registered for educational programs may apply for bus subsidies to help cover their transportation fees.
