Street of Crocodiles

If you are one of the devoted followers of the Quay Brothers films and you happen to find yourself in NYC between July 15 and October 4, check out Dormitorium, an exhibition of their film sets at Parsons. I saw the show at the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery at Philadelphia’s University of the Arts last week. It’s nothing short of uncanny to see these typically animated creations frozen within their familiar sets. The sets for The Cabinet of Jan Svankmajer and Street of Crocodiles were especially stunning.
