Lindsay Cooper Martin, Deputy Director, partners with the center’s Director and senior team to build integrated and strategic organizational capacity across administrative, operational, and advancement functions including marketing/communications, development, and patron services.

Martin previously worked with the Hammer Museum at UCLA as Director, Administration where she oversaw the organizations human resources, technology, security, and retail functions and developed long range planning for facilities, staffing, attendance, revenues and expenses as part of building expansion. Prior to that she worked for Lord Cultural Resources, a cultural consulting practice working with non-profits, governments, and higher education institutions to plan and manage cultural places, programs and resources. Her clients included Glenstone Museum, The Studio Museum in Harlem, the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University, Princeton University Museum of Art, the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas, the International Center of Photography.

She completed her undergraduate studies in art history and political science at UC Davis and her graduate work in museum studies at New York University.
