Erwin Redl Photo Contest--Winner Announced

Apr 27, 2011

Congratulations to Samuel Ludwig! Erwin Redl selected your FETCH image as the winner. We'll be in touch soon about claiming your prizes.

A big thank you to everyone who entered. Thanks also to Midwest Photo Exchange for cosponsoring and to Erwin for taking the time to go through these terrific selections of images.

You can check out the photo here

The Wexner Center for the Arts and Midwest Photo Exchange want your photos. Specifically your shots of Erwin Redl's massive, trippy, and hypnotic work FETCH. Redl has transformed the Wexner Center's outdoor grid into a shape-shifting artwork of static and dynamic LED lights. The piece is on view 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (but it obviously looks best at night).

And you may ask yourself: What's in it for me? The winning photo will be selected by Redl himself and the winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to the Wexner Center Store, a $100 gift card to Midwest Photo Exchange, a Wexner Center swag bag filled with a random assortment of Wex-related goodness, and a chance to have their photo used (with credit) in Wexner Center publications. How do you enter?
1.Check out Erwin Redl's FETCH, located in and around the Wexner Center's grid (which runs the length of the center on the High Street side). More info on Redl's piece is available here.
2. Take your photo(s). Entrants can submit up to 5 photos for consideration.
3. Upload your photo(s) to Flickr, tag it with WexRedlContest. We'll collect the entries and send them to Redl, and he'll pick the winning photo.
4. There are no restrictions on the type of photo you take. It's all up to you (but try to keep it clean).
5. Additional questions? Shoot us an email (shoot, get it?).

The contest runs until Monday, April 11, and a winner selected by April 18. Good luck! Learn more about Midwest Photo Exchange here.
