We love it when Wex visitors and friends share examples of their creativity and we really enjoyed reviewing all the entries to the Cindy Sherman-inspired Self-Portrait Contest. But when it came down to choosing a winner, one contestant kept coming up.
Congratulatons to Columbus College of Art & Design student Chloe Lillash for taking the top spot with this manipulated 35mm work! A couple of choice comments from the judges:
"I thought the images were really great across her three entries."
"This image immediately reminded me of the Annette Messager La Femme Homme series. I like that it's shot with film and I still can't completely figure out how the eyes were done. It's strong and feels very original."
Sincere thanks to everyone who entered and to our judges: Wex Social Media Coordinator Sydney Cologie and Senior Designer Brandon Ballog, and Columbus-based photographer and filmmaker Danielle Petrosa.
