Wexner Center for the Arts, way back in 1989

It was just 26 short years ago that we opened our doors to Columbus and the world. 

Since then, we've been honored to bring hundreds of performances, films, and exhibitions to you, and we're looking forward to brining you more moments that are thought-provoking, entertaining, and enlightening.

To celebrate, we're bumping Throwback Thursday to Monday and digging through archives to take a brief, Aqua Net-besotted walk down memory lane with some blast-from-the-past news stories commemorating our 1989 opening, including this piece just posted by the Ohio Channel.
