The unique architecture of the Wexner Center building makes events in our Performance Space, Film/Video Theater, or café and lobby areas memorable for all attendees. Hosting events in these spaces is a privilege reserved for corporate and individual donors to the Wexner Center, nonprofit groups, and Ohio State University departments and units.
The Wexner Center's Mershon Auditorium also offers a large and flexible setting for many kinds of events: theater, dance, music, and comedy performances; lectures and symposia; business or community meetings; school graduations; and social gatherings.
All facilities are supported by our highly skilled technical services staff, who can assist with audio/visual, multimedia, sound, and lighting needs.

Since opening in 1989, the Wexner Center has attracted international acclaim for its innovative architecture and well-equipped facilities, as well as its bold artistic programs. Designed by architects Peter Eisenman and Richard Trott, the Wexner Center building houses four exhibition galleries (totaling approximately 12,000 square feet); a 300-seat Film/Video Theater; a versatile "black box" Performance Space; and the 2400-seat Mershon Auditorium, immediately adjacent to the Wexner Center building.
The Wexner Center Store in the lower lobby showcases the region's best selection of books on contemporary art and artists, as well as jewelry, accessories, gifts, and housewares. The store is also an authorized Herman Miller retailer.
Heirloom, the Wexner Center café, serves a full menu of breakfast and lunch items, as well as coffee drinks and other beverages.
Free, unlimited wi-fi access is available to all our patrons in the café and lower lobby areas through the WiFi@OSU network. Access to the osuwireless network is also available to all faculty, staff, and students.

Who is eligible to rent the Wexner Center's facilities?
Mershon Auditorium is available to all corporations, groups, and organizations. Corporate and individual donors to the Wexner Center, nonprofit groups, and Ohio State University departments and units may rent facilities in the Wexner Center building--the Performance Space, Film/Video Theater, and café area/lower lobby--for business and social functions.
What types of events can be held at these facilities?
The Wexner Center facilities can be used for meetings, lectures and symposia, and business or social events. Mershon Auditorium is available for performances, as well as meetings, lectures and symposia, and business or social events. Our spaces are not available for purely personal events such as weddings; other event criteria are at the discretion of the Wexner Center.
What arrangements are available for food service or catering?
The Wexner Center is not a banquet facility and is not equipped with all the amenities of such a space. But we do frequently work and coordinate with a variety of caterers to provide refreshments for events held in our spaces.
