Chicago-based filmmaker and past Artist Residency Award recipient Jennifer Reeder returns to her hometown for the Ohio premiere of Blood Below the Skin (2015, 33 mins., DCP). Following the screening, Reeder and Mike Olenick, her longtime editor at the Wex, illuminate the editing process, showing examples of the film as it evolved in postproduction and discussing the creative relationship that so often develops during studio residencies.
