"A refreshing whiff of mischief!"--THE GUARDIAN

In the documentary Czech Dream, two enterprising student filmmakers work with a team of marketing experts to whip the public into a frenzy over the opening of a new supermarket. The catch: the market doesn't exist. (90 mins., 35mm)

Phil Collins's he who laughs last laughs longest documents a laughing contest organized by the Turner Prize–nominated artist. (6 mins., 35mm) The artist conceived of and partially produced this short during his Wexner Center residency last year. His video installation They Shoot Horses was exhibited by the Wexner Center (at the Belmont Building) in 2005; el mundo no escuchara (the world won't listen) was shown in The Box in March 2006.

The Artists Cinema commissions are produced by Frieze Projects and LUX in collaboration with the Independent Cinema Office and supported by Arts Council England and the Culture 2000 program of the European Union. Frieze Projects are presented in association with Cartier.
