Organized by Mitchell Rose, associate professor in Ohio State’s Department of Dance, this program of vibrant, award-winning shorts showcases the latest fusions of filmmaking and dance from around the world. See Timecode, Spanish director Juanjo Jiménez’s story of two parking lot attendants' flirtation via security cameras. The film received a Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and was recently nominated for an Oscar (Live Action Short Film). And catch Rose’s own Exquisite Corps, the viral phenomenon that links together 42 American contemporary choreographers in a cinematic love letter to dance. (program approx. 80 mins., HD video)

Cosponsored by the Ohio State Department of Dance.
