Ohio State graduate Justin Zimmerman offers an insightful, historical account of an Ohio tragedy. In November 1963, 63 Ohioans perished in a fire at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Fitchville. However, the tragedy was relatively overlooked. As it happened, the day after the fire President Kennedy was assassinated and the nation was awash in coverage of the events in Dallas. Ohio State graduate Justin Zimmerman's new documentary Fireland examines the circumstances leading up to and following the fire by combining a variety of archival elements including the famous Zapruder film of the Kennedy motorcade.
