Justin Zimmerman

Athens filmmaker Justin Zimmerman introduces his documentary One of Five, which examines contemporary social and health issues through the lives of five Ohioans. Granted an unusual level of access while volunteering for a variety of groups, Zimmerman presents five intimate portraits of people dealing with problems such as Alzheimer's Disease, a mother's alcoholism, and Down's Syndrome in One of Five. Also included in the program is a work-in-progress look at Zimmerman's current project, Fireland, about a tragic nursing home fire in 1963. (5 mins.)
