Fans of electronic music will be intrigued by this special evening of film and live music featuring a new documentary about genius inventor Robert Moog, plus a concert with French duo M83 and Berlin's Ulrich Schnauss to top off your evening. Discounted ticket packages including both the film and concert are available from the Wexner Center ticket office.

Note special start time: 7:30 pm. Influencing such disparate artists as Sun Ra, Stevie Wonder, Kraftwerk, and Devo, Robert Moog's synthesizers are among the most profound contributions to musical culture of the last fifty years. In Moog, filmmaker/musician Hans Fjellestad explores the technological and musical implications of Moog synthesizers while documenting the inventor's theories on sound, as well as his doubts over how some have put his inventions to use. With Keith Emerson, Mixmaster Mike, and Stereolab (70 mins).

After the film, hear Moog's enduring influence and applicability in a concert by the French duo M83 with opener Ulrich Schnauss.
