Join Fred Andrle of Ohio State’s Humanities Institute and Wexner Center Director of Film/Video Dave Filipi for a lively and interactive conversation about politics in Hollywood films. The discussion highlights films with overtly political content, such as Mike Nichols’s Primary Colors (1998) and Tim Robbins’s Bob Roberts (1992), as well as films with political themes that lurk somewhere below the surface, such as Christopher Nolan’s second Batman film The Dark Knight (2008) and the Coen Brothers’ Burn After Reading (2008). Come and share your favorites! (app. 90 mins)

Cosponsored by Ohio State’s Humanities Institute.
