Based in Iowa, Margaret Stratton revisits growing up Catholic in Miracle, an irreverent commentary on the significance of the Virgin Mary to impressionable young girls. (2000; 33 mins.)

From Media Working Group in Cincinnati comes Coal Black Voices, a public television documentary featuring the words, voices, and images of the Affrilachain Poets, a loose ensemble of African American and minority writers with strong roots in Appalachia and the South.
