Nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at this year's Oscars, the Austrian film Revanche elevates the crime drama and revenge thriller genres through masterful filmmaking and expert storytelling. A prostitute and her boss's errand boy decide to escape their red-light-district lives by robbing a bank in a remote village. The ensuing events alter everyone's lives and push the narrative into difficult moral terrain and larger existential questions.
