Discover the ways that cultures, customs, and ideas from around the world merge to form much of the creative expression of our culture.

You’ll work with artist/educator Mimi Chenfeld to find methods that help students gain a global perspective through the arts. We’ll explore Midnight Robbers: The Artists of Notting Hill Carnival at Ohio State’s new Urban Arts Space downtown in the morning. In the afternoon, we’ll reconvene at the Wexner Center to see Kerry James Marshall’s Every Beat of My Heart exhibition. Throughout the day, we’ll investigate ways that the arts in our community can support you in providing a globally minded education for your students.

Advance registration is required. To register, contact the education department at (614) 292-6493 or e-mail edweb@wexarts.org.
