After landing in Rio and meeting up with F/V curator Chris Stults, the first stop for Jennifer Lange was the National Library of Rio, which houses the archive of "Cruzamentos" artist Alair Gomes. It was an incredible treat to see photographs (including the ones we'll bring here for the show) as well as Gomes' journals and notes. The work is brilliant--it's hard to believe that Gomes has never been shown in a US museum. "Cruzamentos" will rectify that! #wexviabrasil
