Art & Ecology Exhibition

Art & Ecology Exhibition

Stop by the center’s Performance Space to view the final projects of students enrolled in this year’s Art & Ecology course. The exhibition is free with gallery admission.

Every fall, students from high schools across central Ohio immerse themselves in environmental issues at this Wexner Center–organized course, working side-by-side with artists whose work is also ecologically focused. This year, participating students traveled to Stratford Ecological Center, the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill, and Chadwick Arboretum; studied design thinking with CCAD professor Kelly DeVore; and explored the work of Maya Lin, Ann Hamilton, Jenny Holzer, and Freedom Baird.

Meet the students and discuss their projects at a free opening reception on December 12, 5:30–7:30 pm. Watch wexarts.org for information about future Art & Ecology courses.
