"Makoto obliterates all in his path."--Hear & Now

Japanese psych-rock collective Acid Mothers Temple appear in many guises, from trancey space rangers and whimsical acoustic adventurers to mind-bending bringers of noise.

Under the "direction" of guitarist Kawabata Makoto, the band's kaleidoscope of freewheeling sonic mayhem creates a glorious racket that does far more than pay lip service to breaking on through to the other side. Succumb.

SubArachnoid Space opens the show with its dark blend of instrumental psychedelia and improvisational free-form compositions.
