"Bursting at its seams with lovingly and vividly realized ideas… Don't try to sort it out, just dig it."—Pitchfork

Alternately shambolic and ecstatic, the Brooklyn-based band Akron/Family return to delight their legion of local fans. Their last show at the Wex—a majestic display of pastoral folktronica—sold out quickly. Don't delay in getting your tickets for this go around. Their February release, S/T II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT, has garnered strong notices in Pitchfork and PopMatters, among other sources. Check it out as a build-up to the show.

The opener is New Jersey's Delicate Steve, fronted by DIY musician Steve Marion, who buoys sugary pop melodies in fuzzy percussive layers of guitars, analog synths, and drums that are guaranteed to delight. His new release, Wondervisions, has been getting a great response too, including this "Critics Choice" review by Jon Pareles in the New York Times.
