Don Byron Ivey-Divey Trio featuring Jason Moran and Billy Hart

Their free-flowing exchanges craft smart, sophisticated, adventurous music and make the concert a sure highlight on our jazz schedule. The name "Ivey-Divey" comes from a hipster phrase coined by sax legend Lester Young and also references the then-radical lineup of Young's own bass-less trio (with Nat "King" Cole on piano and Buddy Rich on drums) of the 1940s.
