Faye Driscoll Thank You for Coming: Space

Faye Driscoll’s work-in-progress showing on Aug 31 has been canceled; her creative residency at the Wex will be rescheduled at a later date.

Dance artist Faye Driscoll returns to the Wex (her creative home away from home) to begin the development of Thank You for Coming: Space. And we’re inviting you to take a peek into her creative process and hear firsthand about the ideas that underpin her next production—for free.

Thank You for Coming: Space will be the final installment in Driscoll’s trilogy of stand-alone, yet interconnected works about how we are all wrapped up in each other whether we like it or not. The previous works in this series were big hits with local dance followers, including Thank You for Coming: Play, which premiered here at the completion of an earlier creative residency. Celebrating the connectivity of artists and audiences, Thank You for Coming: Space will be a physical installation and a performance customized for each community, both designed to be open and malleable to amplify the communal experience.
