"He may very well literally be a talent of Goliath proportions."—No Ripcord

Playing on his own and opening for Bon Iver, Sweden's The Tallest Man on Earth (aka Kristian Matsson) is winning over droves of fans. His forward folk sound—complete with shades of early Dylan—is marked by deft lyricism and impassioned energy. This tour supports his recently released There's No Leaving Now on the Dead Oceans label, which is already being touted as his breakout album in the States. Paste magazine says, "the clean, galloping banjos and guitars spotlight his pristine snarl, which slips down into powerful bass notes and then reaches up and yelps on key, accentuating his ambitious, second-language lyrics."
