Concerned about the environment, love art, and want to have new, out-of-school experiences? Students grades 10–12 (as of Fall 2018) are invited to learn more about contemporary art and environmental issues while earning high school credit. Art & Ecology blends extensive online study and diverse field trips—and gives participating teens the opportunity to exhibit their own environmentally informed art at the Wex. The course meets most Wednesdays, 3–5 PM, Aug 23, 2018–Jan 2, 2019, and is free, with supplies provided along with transportation assistance.

Find applications and more information at wexartecology.org. Teachers, please contact edweb@wexarts.org for information about free in-school presentations on this course for interested students.

Art & Ecology is presented with major support from American Electric Power.
