What would Black Mountain College be like today? Explore the mediums and processes featured in the Leap Before You Look exhibition by experiencing today’s movement, poetry, film, sound, and visual art with makers from FEVERHEAD, an interdisciplinary collective of time-based artists located in Columbus.
Bring family and friends and prepare to move, create, improvise, and play while immersing yourself in all things Black Mountain College. See a live weaving demonstration in the galleries noon–1 pm. Take a short, family-friendly guided tour of the exhibition at 1, 2, and 3 pm. And watch a free screening of Judith Pearlman’s illuminating documentary Bauhaus in America in the Film/Video Theater at 2 pm.
All activities and gallery admission are free on Super Sunday. Questions? Please contact Jean Pitman at (614) 292-4614 or at jpitman@wexarts.org.
