Interventionist Theatre Symposium
Interventionist theater, an emerging field within theater studies, encourages people living in conflict areas to develop new collaborative work generated from their personal experience and workshops with theater specialists. The symposium is presented as part of a collaborative university program titled Identity Formation in the Arab World.
See the film/video section of this web site for details on an April 15 presentation by Walid Ra'ad, which is also part of Identity Formation in the Arab World.
Presented by Ohio State's Department of Theatre. Cosponsored by the Mershon Center, Middle East Studies Center, Departments of Comparative Studies and Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, and the Wexner Center.
