Island President 

Island President highlights the story of Mohamed Nasheed, the first democratically elected president of the Maldives (a nation of 1,200 tiny islands in the Indian Ocean) and a charismatic activist on the issues surrounding climate change, which offers especially grave challenges to his country. As one of the most low-lying countries in the world, a rise of three feet in sea level would submerge the islands of the Maldives enough to make them uninhabitable.
