wex grid image fill

Larry Lieberman discusses investigations of the concepts of light and space from his perspective as an artist active in the field of holographic art.

His talk is in conjunction with Translating Solids: The Holographic Image, an exhibition on view at Hopkins Hall Gallery and Corridor from February 28 through March 16.

Presented by Ohio State's Colleges of the Arts and Sciences, College of the Arts, College of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Department of Art, Department of Physics, and Hopkins Hall Gallery and Corridor. Cosponsored by the Wexner Center. Lieberman has been a working artist since 1977. After studying painting, printmaking, and photography at Ohio State, and earning a B.F.A., he set up an independent study program between the university's art, electrical engineering, and physics departments to further study art and holography. He later attended The San Francisco School of Holography and attended and lectured at workshops at Lake Forest College in Chicago on holography and phonics. Lieberman has been producing and helping other artists produce holographic art for 30 years.
