Workshop for Families

wex grid image fill

Investigate the role furniture plays in our daily life through storytelling, gallery explorations, and a hands-on activity. This program explores pieces of furniture we use every day: tables and chairs. After reading The Salamander Room by Anne Mazer, we'll investigate the new furniture that artist Franz West made for the Wexner Center Café. Together, we'll think about how he changed the mood of the café through the bright fabrics and design of his tables and chairs. We'll end our time together with a hands-on activity.

2001-02 education season presented with lead support from the Borden Family of Companies.

Programs for children and families presented with additional support from Honda of America Mfg., Inc., Ameritech/SBC, 12 1/4 Circle, an active group of Wexner Center members, and the Corporate Annual Fund of the Wexner Center Foundation.
