Program for Arts & Humanities Development Gallery Presentations

Tue, Aug 10, 2010 4 PM

The Program for Arts & Humanities Development (PHD), the Colleges of the Arts & Humanities, and the Wexner Center warmly invite you to attend this unique gallery recital/presentation by students participating in a significant campus endeavor.

The PHD, presented under the auspices of the Colleges of Arts & Humanities, is a research and mentoring summer program that serves arts and humanities majors from historically underrepresented groups from colleges and universities across the country, and focuses on providing developmental programming for students interested in pursuing graduate study in the main fields of the arts and humanities. In addition to conducting individual research in their respective fields, the members of this year's PHD have been working collaboratively on a project oriented around the Wexner Center’s Mark Bradford exhibition.

This event showcases the students' collaborative Mark Bradford project, which engages Bradford’s work and the many deep questions it raises about art, aesthetics, identity, representation, and the art world itself. A brief reception will follow. Please join us for this one of a kind event!
