Join a community conversation and experience how two local artists—Dante Brown (dance) and Liv Gjestvang (video)—raise awareness about the complexities of power through dance and film. This forum will be beneficial for anyone interested in learning about the dynamics of intimidation—most especially relating to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) communities—in an educational setting. You will leave knowledgeable about the fundamentals of bullying and with community resources in place to support individuals who are often the targets of intimidation. As part of the event, Dante Brown/Warehouse Dance will perform an eight-minute piece titled Chalk Boundaries. Pre-service and active educators of all disciplines are welcome. To register, email edweb@wexarts.org or call (614) 292-6493. Cosponsored by Ohio State's Multicultural Center in the Office of Student Life.
