Jon Wurster, in addition to a lengthy rock drumming resume for acts like the Mountain Goats (with whom he'll be playing with later this evening), Superchunk, Robert Pollard, Bob Mould, and, yes, Charlie Daniels(!), is a writer for TV (Monk, Tim and Eric Awesome Show) and a humorist best known as part of the long-form radio comedy team Scharpling and Wurster (The Best Show on WFMU), who have released five CDs since 1997. More recently, Wurster (@jonwurster) was named the number one "Tweeting Artist You Should Follow," besting the likes of 50 Cent, Kanye West, and Weird Al Yankovic.
